Segmenting a List by B2B Businesses
To identify and focus on business-to-business (B2B) style companies within your list, consider the following methods:
Filter by Relevant Keywords
Create the technology report youโre interested in, then open the Keywords tab to discover sites using terms that align with the type of B2B business youโre targeting. This approach helps you focus on companies that use language consistent with business services rather than consumer offerings.

Filter by B2B-Focused Technologies
Certain technologies are more commonly adopted by companies serving other businesses. These include CRM systems and Marketing Automation tools. In the Tech tab of your report, you can filter by entire categories or by specific technologies within these groups to narrow results to likely B2B organizations.

Exclude B2C Technologies
Conversely, you can refine your list by excluding technologies that tend to appear on consumer-oriented websites. Examples include eCommerce platforms and Advertising Solutions, which are typically associated with B2C activity.
Filter by โPlans and Pricingโ Pages
Filter your report to include websites that feature a Plans and Pricing page (a technology we track). These pages are strong indicators of SaaS-style businesses that cater to other organizations rather than end consumers.
Use the B2B Focus Feature
On the Ideas page of your report, select the Create Report option next to the B2B Focus idea. This automatically filters out eCommerce websites and surfaces only sites that have a known CRM system, giving you a refined, B2B-focused dataset.
